3. How to water Bonsai and how to moisten the soil (SHINPAKU).
Mini shinpaku [a113] , the soil was not moist everyday. I watered at morning, but the surface of soil is dry at 3:00 pm.
Use the dry moss (mizugoke). Cut the dry moss in 2-3mm length, put them on all of the surface of soil.
Watering a little first, and push the dry moss by finger, put the dry moss on the soil.
Water again enough (2-5 minutes).
Use under the dish and in sands in summer season.
This is the same style "Tou-Kaede".
This is the dry moss "mizugoke".
The humidity is very low at Europe than Tokyo Japan, I live, I think.
You can moisten the soil every day, but of course you must water 2-3 times/one day in summer, 1-2 times/one day in spring and autumn, 1-2 times/day in winter.
And you can know well, touch the dry moss, bonsai soil is dry or not dry.
Especially in budding, in flowering, in berrying, bonsai want to water very much.
